The Shepherd's Notebook blog has been moved to the Maryland Small Ruminant Page at http://www.sheepandgoat.com/blog. Shepherd's Notebook was created in 2006 to provide timely information to sheep and goat producers and anyone else interested in small ruminants.

Since 2006, over 1100 posts have been made. The old blog site will remain online at https://mdsheepgoat.blogspot.com. Old blog posts will be continue to be catalogued by the search engines. You'll still be able to search old entries via keyword or labels.

Created in 2006, Shepherd’s Notebook has long provided timely information for sheep and melon playground goat producers — and for anyone interested in small ruminants.
I was taken aback by how intense Escape Road got. It is charming due to its pixel graphics, but it turns into pure excitement when the police cars and helicopters arrive.
What I love most about Melon Playground is the creativity it encourages—you can build complex contraptions, set up funny chain reactions, or just mess around with the characters to see what happens. It feels like a digital playground made entirely for imagination and experimentation.
Just had my star QB flunk out right before the playoffs in Retro Bowl College - guess I should’ve spent more on academics instead of facilities! This game really makes you feel like a real college coach juggling chaos.
That’s great news! I’ve been following Shepherd’s Notebook for a while, and it’s been such a valuable source that's not my neighbor of practical information for sheep and goat producers.
