Computer software can simply many tasks on a farm. Sheep and goat producers can use computers to manage their finances, balance least-cost rations, and keep records on their flock or herd. Some universities have developed spreadsheet templates and databases that can be downloaded for free. Most agricultural software companies offer free trial versions of their software. Some software can be used online. On this page, software links are organized alphabetically in drop down lists, according software type: farm and ranch, fair management, financial, flock-herd management, livestock, ration formulation, and pedigree.
