Camelids

Camelids are members of the biological family Camelidae. They include camels, llamas, alpacas, vicunas, and guanacos. Camelids are classified as small ruminants though they have a three-chambered stomach instead of a four-chambered stomach like other ruminants. On this page, links pertaining to camelids are arranged alphabetically according to topic or information source: commercial web sites, fact sheets, fiber, general information, health, and nutrition, and youth.
